The 17th Winter Congress of the KFO IG, held from March 18 to 25, 2023, was a great success. Participants from across Germany came together to discuss current topics in orthodontics and learn from one another. The experts presented lectures on a wide range of topics, from digitalization in the practice to specialized treatment methods and employee retention in times of changing values and skilled labor shortages.
Our colleague Dr. med. dent. Julia Steinmaier from Cologne gave a presentation on the temporomandibular joint. She emphasized the importance of a thorough examination of the temporomandibular joint and presented a proven methodology for the orthodontic treatment of joint pathologies. Her presentation was both informative and practice-oriented, giving attendees valuable insights into the treatment of patients with temporomandibular joint problems.
Continuing education conferences always provide participants with a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest developments and trends in orthodontics, expand their knowledge, and make new contacts. Through ongoing collaboration and exchange within the orthodontic community, they can continuously improve the quality of care for their patients.
