Our In-House Master Dental Laboratory
Aligners, splints and braces “Made in Cologne”: in our in-house orthodontic master dental laboratory we combine state-of-the-art 3D printing technology with traditional dental craftsmanship – for short distances and high quality.
Our master dental laboratory is located right inside the practice in Cologne-Rodenkirchen. Clinicians and dental technicians coordinate directly with each other: aligners, removable and fixed braces, retainers and occlusal splints are made with modern 3D printers in gold-standard quality – and repairs are particularly fast because nothing has to be mailed.
3D printing and digital treatment planning
Our in-house orthodontic master dental laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art devices. These include, among others:
- 3D printers (SHERAprint/Rapidshape 20, 30 & 50)
- digital planning software (OnyxCeph & Exocad)
- Biostar 4 – aligners
Digital technology provides a very high level of accuracy and allowed us to establish our own aligner production in 2019.

Traditional craftsmanship meets modern technology
All these digital tools do not, however, replace the work done in our practice and our laboratory by highly qualified dental technicians.
The planning of aligner treatment, including the incorporation of information about the temporomandibular joint, is carried out by our orthodontists themselves.
The finishing, adjustment and polishing of splints, aligners and removable appliances, as well as prompt repairs if something does break, would not be possible without our laboratory team.
