Our practice premises in Cologne have grown steadily over the years – a single building was no longer enough for us. Today you will find JUST KFO – Dr. Steinmaier & Kollegen as an orthodontic practice in Cologne-Rodenkirchen right in your neighborhood.

To reach our courtyard, you pass through a barrier; during your appointment, free parking is available there. From the courtyard you can go directly into the rear part of our practice.

Directions, parking and public transportation

By car, you can reach us via Hauptstraße 50. Free parking spaces are available in the courtyard – simply ring the bell at the barrier; during your appointment you can park there without any time pressure. If you are coming from Sürth, Weiß, Hahnwald, Marienburg, Bayenthal, Raderthal or Zollstock, you will be with us within a few minutes; from the right bank of the Rhine, the route leads across the Rodenkirchener Brücke.

We are just as easy to reach by train and bus: the stops Bahnhof Rodenkirchen (lines 16 and 17, buses 130, 131, 134 and 135) and Heinrich-Lübke-Ufer (lines 16 and 17, buses 130 and 134) are both within walking distance. Especially for teenagers who come to their check-up appointments on their own, this makes a noticeable difference in everyday life.

The initial consultation is without obligation – and we take our time. We look at your teeth and jaws, take a digital 3D scan if needed, entirely without unpleasant impression material, and discuss with you calmly whether and when treatment makes sense. You go home with a clear assessment, not with a sales pitch.

You can book an appointment by phone at 0221 – 93 53 02 0 or online around the clock. We are open around 50 weeks a year: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 18:00, and Friday from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:00.

For children, teenagers and adults

Orthodontics has long since stopped being a question of age. In children, it is often about not missing the right moment – a first look from around the age of nine makes sense, and considerably earlier if the bite is noticeably off or teeth are lost early. We treat teenagers with fixed braces or aligners, and adults usually with nearly invisible aligners that are hardly noticeable in everyday working life.

There are also areas that go beyond classic tooth correction: TMD pain therapy for temporomandibular disorder (TMD) complaints in the jaw joint, mandibular advancement devices for snoring and sleep apnea, and custom-fitted sports mouthguards made in our own laboratory. Costs, health insurance and our own in-house master dental laboratory

We treat patients with statutory and private health insurance. For children and adolescents, statutory health insurance covers the cost of standard care if the misalignment is pronounced enough and treatment begins before the 18th birthday. At your initial consultation we will tell you reliably and in writing how your case is classified and which additional services may make sense – with no surprises on the bill.

One advantage of short distances also shows behind the scenes: our in-house master dental laboratory with an integrated 3D printing room is located in the same building. Appliances, splints and retainers are made there instead of traveling back and forth between the practice and an outside laboratory for weeks. As a result, repairs can often be completed the same day – a point that in everyday life often counts for more than the distance to the practice alone.
