“In the planned use of Invisalign aligners, we are dealing with a now-recognized orthodontic treatment method. This method, in which the impression is taken with an individual impression tray, generally leads to more satisfactory results compared to conventional impression methods using prefabricated impression trays. If there are multiple medically indicated and customary treatment methods, it is up to the patient to choose which approach should be used for treatment. It is at the discretion of the treating orthodontist to recommend treatment with Invisalign aligners.”
